hiding myself

Between the waves of salty waters
and the shadows of beach parasols
I move
hiding myself.
The glaring sun scans my skin
each time I expose it
and burns it to the bones.
And I cannot even face it,
my eyes squint behind sunglasses
and l lose the sight
but still,
I follow the sunny traces
hiding in the shadows of early mornings
and wondering:
does the sun know
how much I yearn for it?
